Course Statement: This course is based on the current Illinois Library Information Specialist Standards and focuses on the school library collection management and with more emphasis on the diverse learning needs of students and teachers. This course follows a project-based methodology that is student-centered and uses 21st century scenario-based learning. The way we will accomplish this is to implement collaborative "Design Thinking" into our course. This is one of three theoretical educational frameworks that are encouraged by the Instructional Technology Department at SIUE.
